George Zimmer No Longer Guarantees It

George Zimmer the face and founder of Men's Wearhouse has been let go. The board of directors of Men's Wearhouse have give Zimmer the axe.
Zimmer founded the company in Dallas 40 years ago and built the company into a huge suit empire. He started out selling cheap suits and using a cigar box as a cash register driving around in a van full of suits. Not only did he run the company until he stepped down as CEO in 2011 he was the company Spokesperson Zimmer took the company from the one store to 1,143 stores.
Today he was let go and is naturally rather bitter about it! "Over the last 40 years, I have built The Men's Wearhouse into a multi-billion dollar company with amazing employees and loyal customers who value the products and service they receive at The Men's Wearhouse. Over the past several months I have expressed my concerns to the Board about the direction the company is currently heading. Instead of fostering the kind of dialogue in the Boardroom that has, in part, contributed to our success, the Board has inappropriately chosen to silence my concerns by terminating me as an executive officer." -George Zimmer
