San Francisco's Nudists

The nudists of San Francisco are in a battle against a city supervisor named Wiener who is spearheading the ban on public nudity. The mainly male and frankly unattractive nudists of San Francisco don't want to have to cover up and Mr Wiener is saying they should. Public nudity is legal in San Francisco and is a tradition in events such as The Bay to Breakers race and The Folsom Street Fair but have the nudists gone too far? There is a lovely little plaza in the Castro that has recently become inundated with nude men flaunting their goods especially at mid-day when locals enjoy lunching in the sun. This has upset many of the residents of the neighborhood as well as business owners and they have enlisted Supervisor Wiener in their cause. There has been a new and vulgarly named "Skid mark" law where nudists must sit on something whilst engaging in their hobby. Fair enough! Who really wants to sit on a seat just vacated by a naked man?  The fight is beginning a debate about nudity and freedom of expression in San Francisco. If a law is passed it will be known aptly as "The Wiener Law" prohibiting nudity in most public places. The law as it stands now bans nudity in parks, schools and federal land within the city would encompass much more of the city but it would still allow for the dropping of trou at certain events. The question that begs to be asked is: would this be happening if very attractive people were the nudists? Perhaps just on ban on the ugly is more apropos.
