"Running in Bed" by Jeffrey Sharlach

Weho Bistro in West Hollywood hosted a book signing for the new novel by Jeffery Sharlach. "Running in Bed", the first novel by Mr. Sharlach, is the story of a gay man living in New York in the 70's and 80's. Josh Silver's story is told in first person bringing the reader into his new found world and worries about living life as a gay man. I got a copy of the book, that was released this week, and I am about half way through. "Running in Bed" is a quick and so far enjoyable read with a sense of truth to it. Jeffrey Sharlach a charming and personable guy greeted the attendees of his book signing personally with a warm smile and handshake. The event at Weho Bistro was his second stop on his tour of bookstores to promote his new book. The cover photo of Pablo Hernandez is a draw in itself. Pablo Hernandez was also in attendance at Weho Bistro and charmed the crowd of book buyers posing for photos. If the cover doesn't make a splash the contents will engage you as a reader. "Running in Bed" is an excellent summer read.
